Meet the Teachers & The Paraprofessionals

 Ms. Kelly

My name is Kelly Lietzke.  I have been teaching for 19 years.  I have taught all 19 years in the Hardin-Jefferson School District.  I taught my first 2 years at China Elementary (2nd & 3rd grade), moved to Sour Lake Elementary (taught 4th & 2nd grade) and then moved back to China Elementary.  When I came back to China, I became a Special Education teacher in PPCD.  I attended Sour Lake Elementary from Kindergarten through 6th grade, Henderson Jr. High for 7th & 8th grade and I graduated from Hardin-Jefferson High School in 1995.  I graduated from Lamar University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood.  I wanted to be a teacher my entire life and I truly feel that Special Education has been a calling for me.  My husband, Rob & I have been married for 19 years and have one child, Colin.  Colin is 17 years old and goes to school at Hardin-Jefferson High.  I feel very blessed to be a part of your child's life, especially in these early years.  It gives me great joy and pride to be able to give your child their foundation for learning.

My name is Joline Leger. I am known as "Aunt Jo" by many having owned and operated The Playhouse Child Care for nearly 30 years.
After closing my business I felt I still wanted to work with children. In November of 2014 I began substituting at China Elementary. I love working with all age children but have to say my favorite are the younger ones! I quickly fell in love with the Early Adventures children and staff.
I am so excited and feel incredibly blessed to begin a new chapter in my life. Working with these precious children and awesome team of ladies who are so dedicated to the success of every student is amazing!
